Hesitant and Vague Actions

Today was more exciting than yesterday because I met people who were very hesitant to speak out about what they wanted and vague in revealing who they were and what they were doing online with social media tools. I know it's very untypical and yet it occurred too often too not put a spot light on it here.
Q: So, why aren't I ignoring this behavior and moving on to straight forward people who want to market online?
A: Because Hesitance and Vague Actions transcend from the emotion fear. People get burnt and have difficulty trusting anyone. So I classify them as skeptical and act accordingly.
People are screaming for leadership and honor. Online businesses are very cool to research cause you do not have anyone pressuring you but as soon as you see, hear or read a persons direct message ...Gulp!
You can not prevent what people are bringing to the table but you can sincerely validate them by empathizing and then wish them the best and if they have questions you'll be there to answer them and thank them for following you or friending you.
Down the road that person will remember that you were just sorting out who was ready for what you had and when they are ready they will remember your professionalism and trust you will not pressure them again but lead them to the target they want to achieve in marketing online
As marketers we sort through hundreds of leads so we do not need to convince everyone to buy what we have because if they do not want it in the first place they will quit and that decreases your retention rate. Be a listener not a talker and in this case a reader and not a big rely'er"A great marketer listens!"
